That was just the prototype for the previous design. It has been killed with fire.

It was replaced with this boot for safety concerns.

I have purchased one of these intake boots and it has held up just fine over the last year and a half. I had the dual brake booster ports on the TB, capped the lower one off (just to ensure any oily sludge from the PCV doesnt through the line on the lower port) and ran a single line with an E21 check valve to the booster. There is absolutely no change in brake assist from what I can tell and it removes the costly stock check valve (E21 valve was $12 or less) and simplifies the vacuum system just slightly.

The later manual e30s used a single check valve. I believe I started in 90. I like to tap the bottom vacuum port for the blow off valve.

Waiting on the prototype. The tooling should be done by now.

No list needed. Just click on my website and pre-order. I'll change the prices as soon as they ship them out to me.

What do u need from me to make this happen? Want me to send u a boot? I think its the same as length as the stock one.

Do you have a pic of this? I thought of running a diverter valve in there too!

I seriously can't wait to get mine. My old stock boot is all cracked and leaking.

The tooling cost is about $600 per design plus a 25 piece minimum order. Not enough interest to make it worth developing. After shipping and Paypal fees I barely break even. Not worth fronting a couple grand for 2% return after a year or to of trying to sell them. I chalked up the bad sales of the first run due to it being an early model "i" design. If it takes me a year to sell the new style then it will be the final production run.
