Early Model E30 OEM Replacement Tail Lights

i spoke to him again about it over the holidays when i picked up my mtech ii rep in ABS PLASTIC. he seems to be a bit more entertained this time around. So we'll see... :)

I see where he's coming from, but you have to account for the fact that OE replacements are competing with readily available used tails. Startec reps would only be competing with rising real piece prices, and people not willing to pay them. I think a lot of people are pulling punches in anticipation of a startec rep (its talked about often, rarely delivered)


Id be most likely in with reasonable pricing.

well, we just talked about it today. he would like to see how this current batch of tail lights move before he consider that. so tell ur friends and fam about this one. I think he brought in like 20 pairs for this one to test out the e30 crowd. again, he primarily sell to e90, e46 and other late model audi/vw. The way he sees it is that, with $80 + shipping, that's pretty darn cheap even comparing to ebay stuff. If he can't move these, there is no pt. You gotta know, he is coming from $ making perspective. There is also a reason why he doesn't want to deal with the transactions so folks don't know they can get it this cheap from HIM. He doesn't do retail at all.

but i'll keep plugging away... after all, he is still getting more e30 stuff for ME. ;)

Got my gaskets and Lamin-X. Just waiting for some time when it's not raining to get them off.

I don't suggest red Lamin-X for those who want all red tails by the way, the red is too far off from the tail light. I'll eventually just do the Testers candy spray, but for now it will be fine.

I don't suggest red Lamin-X for those who want all red tails by the way, the red is too far off from the tail light. I'll eventually just do the Krylon stained glass spray, but for now it will be fine.
