The splitter actually protects the iS lip from scrapes and damage. It takes the hits well and is over twice the thickness of the lip so it can be ground on for years before needing replacement.

Hey guys-
I picked up 72 late models and 24 m-tech 2 splitters this morning.
We are shaping and forming them today and tomorrow. They will ship out in the order they were paid for, and as they are finished. Goal is to have all 20 splitters shiped by friday this week. We sold 20 total, which is awesome.
