APEX | 17" 4-Lug ARC-8 Pre Group-Buy Discussion Thread

Time line will be something like this:

• Another week or two of discussion to come to the final design details on paper.
• CAD and technical design time (two weeks).
• Get a local car in for test fit (one week).
• Group buy feeler phase: everyone shares, Facebooks, etc and we can get both US and international interest going viral (excitement grows when its a real product, not just discussion ;D )
• Payment phase (one week)
• Production (six weeks)
• Shipping and customs (two weeks)
• One week to land in our distribution warehouse, and ship to you

I'd say you could have wheels as soon as May/June, if everyone wanted something like 17x8.5".
15s would be more time by a month or two.

I'm a 15" wheel NERD! That being said, why are you guys looking for 15" APEX wheels? Is it the mesh style, or something else? It seems like there are many 15x(something) wheels one could put on an E30, so more clarification is what we seek.

I would be all over a set of 15x8s!
Im looking for a set of wheels that will clear my rx7 BBK for autocross. I love the look of these.

If we don’t get in on the initial purchase of the 17 inch wheels in this something that we’d be able to purchase at a future date? I’m just worried about them looking a little too large for my liking. I’m definitely interested in seeing how a mesh 15inch set up would look from you guys. Is a 15 inch wheel too small for you guys to add a bit of concavity to it? Thanks for supporting the BMW world!
