probably, but no harm going to their website and contacting them directly and referencing the REV Forum group buy

I was too late to get the original group buy discount but Scott was nice enough to still offer me a discounted price and more importantly let me get in on an M42 exhaust. Looking forward to getting this thing on the car once it arrives.

Any m42 guys gonna keep their stock resonator? Mine was already gone when I installed my Stromung, but I'm thinking of adding it back. I know it'll take some welding but I want to tame the sound a little.

I kept mine when i installed it. I have actually toyed with the idea of cutting it off though. Its not that loud at all but has zero drone. Only time It loud is when Im on it. Not having any drone is the only reason I have left it on.

Thanks, and I just realized when I looked at your thread that I just need to remove the "cat-back" section from the Stromung and replace with the OE resonator section.

Yep its super simple as long as your car isnt rusty

                          MTech version for MT2 ONLY.

Heads up for anyone considering the 325i ANGLED exhaust version for an MTECH rear apron:

it **DOES** fit on an MTECH2 rear apron no problem.
it **DOES NOT** fit on an MTECH1 rear apron with angled opening.
it **MIGHT** fit on a straight tip MTECH1 rear apron if you're lucky enough to have one of those rare beasts. The traditional straight 325i strömung may fit better though.

Here's a repro MT2 rear apron. It's pretty thin where the tips exit, unlike the MT1 apron that wraps under.

Cropped version of an Mtech2 pic Scott sent me showing the fit prototype. Perfect.

@tvance306 just tried trial fitting to his mtech1 car and the tips are clearly not angled enough. They don't exit straight like the standard strömung, but the angle just isn't sharp enough outboard to line up with the exhaust cutout on the mtech1 rear apron.

This IS NOT Scott's fault btw.. I'm in contact with him to look into getting an mtech1 version going, with double wall tips

I'm in for two for 325i on the next go round. Any idea when this will be up again?

You guys should contact Stromung and see if you can start another group buy. Scott's really easy to work with and if you can get enough interest, theyll happily start another batch
