Zen Hood Seal Kits - Available

    NLA

I am looking for another manufacturer and hope to have these available again soon.

We have it made in small runs of specially formulated EDPM in order to suit the conditions IE heat, UV, oil resistance etc. the reason being was that the OE product would harden and cause hood closing issues and also the rubber would degenerate rapidly and the off the shelf products were just as bad.

Entwicklung Dreißig Zen II E30 HOOD SEALS are constructed in the USA from 100% High performance EPDM rubber. The seals fit between the hood and the fender. This seal completely covers / seals the space between the hood and the fender for better aerodynamics.

do they just snap onto the panel seam, or do they use an adhesive?

They use an adhesive strip (same as the EVO part)

Shit... Just paid around $50 for the pair of evo seals at the dealer. These seem to be a better option though.

do you have trunk seals also? I'd be interested in hood and trunk.

Very happy with mine. Installed them the other day and I noticed while washing the car that it seems like they seal up very nicely and they make the seam look so much better.

Don't hesitate to snag a set of these, guys! I just got mine installed today, and they look GREAT! Awesome fit, super easy installation, and they look tits.

Thanks for the hookup, DC. One question, will one set of these do the whole trunk, around the whole seam?

No! not around the whole seam just down the sides, you don't want to trap water. The kit will do a trunk and leave some extra material.

Is there an advantage of these over the OEM parts from the dealer?

                          Thanks,
                          Tom
