CG-Lock makes the drive far more comfortable

I have been using the CG-Lock in local driving for several years. When I leave the highways and travel on the winding mountain roads in southern California, the CG-Lock makes the drive far more comfortable by maintaining my position within the seat and lets me focus on keeping the center of gravity below the vehicle.

I have one as well, it works great - not as good as a full harness of course, but I stay in the seat much better for autox and HPDEs. I've had mine for about 4 years and it feels wierd when I get into a car that doesn't have one.

My wife got me two, one for each seat. I love them, though you need to tighten the clamp that holds them on occasionally or they'll pop off.

ive always just dropped the seat back 2 clicks, locked the seatbelt, and pushed it back front. never let go during my runs. this was on my subaru. is this necessary for an e30?

That's an awesome and painfully obvious idea. :)

you can do that on an E30 it's just a pain in the ass to get it right every time. the CG lock is much easier to adjust and live with on a daily basis.

I've got one in my car, and I love it. Doesn't bother me day to day, but is great on the AutoX course. Works well for two drivers, too.
