    bummer, the cam gear is made very well otherwise. Hope they fix that on future batches.

    If the gear turns clockwise, then indeed you guys are right.

    I thought I advanced my cam 2deg on my freshly built stroker (with 284/272 cam) but in fact it looks to be 2deg retarded. Would this cause a slightly rougher than expected idle?
    Currently, my motor is really responsive & punchy at all rpms, I would think it would be even moreso if I adjusted the cam gear to in fact have a 2deg advance, no?

    If this is the case then Alex is correct. I have the same adj cam gear but the fiance has the car tonight so I can't check it out - can anyone confirm if it is marked correctly in Nando pic above?
