    bavauto battery mat!!



    Freaking worthless! I had the battery mat for 3-4yrs on my cabrio. The battery is in the engine bay. Also a Tx car so not much moisture. Well I recently changed my battery and decided to peak under the mat...since it was wet...well what do you know it was full of surface rust!!! Its nothing more than a mat that traps moisture....FUCK this shitty product!
    Renting my rear wheel bearing tool kit. SIR

      I had a rusty battery shelf in my Vert because the idiot previous owners had a battery leak and never cleaned the shelf. I sanded/wire brushed the shelf, put on 3 coats of epoxy primer (Spray Maxx 2-chamber rattle can) followed by 3 coats of brush on Randolph Aerospace Acid-Proof battery box paint from Aircraft Spruce. Best protection ever!
