good price, I fucking hate crappy dust masks, but my grandpa also died because he inhaled all kinds of dust...
Thanks for sharing that. It has to be a crappy way to go, too. I spent 4 days cutting and sanding MDF in my garage WITH dust collection and my lungs hurt...nope, not gonna deal with that.
I use a very nasty glue, and I spray it. When using this mask, I cannot even smell it AT ALL.
Normally, I can only do 1 or 2 boxes without having to air out the garage. Last night I did 7 boxes and seriously could not smell it at all!
I know basically nothing about particulates and stuff, but if you can't smell it and it doesn't get your head all freaked out, it has to be better than that silly 3M dustmask, right?

yeah, he and my grandma ran a ceramics shop. he was always the one who filled the giant mixing tank with the powder shit. Never wore a mask. I remember watching him fill it as a kid, coughing and all. he was always hacking up lung cookies, and he wasn't a smoker. died young too, barely 60.
safety has been drilled into my head because of the industry i work in. I won't let my wife mow the lawn without hearing protection, she hates me for it but at least when we're 80 we'll still be able to yell at each other. The one time I didn't wear eye protection while using my circular saw, I got a peice of wood in my eye - not from the saw, but when I blew the dust off the board I was cutting. Stupid!
