Depo Smoked Ellipsoids from Abrahams Motorsport

Does anyone have any reviews of the smoked Ellipsoids from Abrahams? I'm thinking about grabbing a set, but have heard a couple of rumors about them leaking. Any truth to this? Or other issues?

They leak, but at $175-$200 or whatever they are it's not bad.

Is there any way to remedy this? A friend of mine said just put a line of silicone where the lens meets the housing

I'm curious if the highbeams are all chrome with the cross hairs being black only or if they painted part of the reflectors black

Leaks are a non issue for me but it doesn't rain a lot here. From what I have seen, it was a problem when the DEPO's were first released and hopefully remedied by now. I think they use too much silicone on the housing now but it's not a big deal.

The highbeams are chrome with black cross hairs.

Just use a little silicon where the wires go into the housing caps. Been running a set for over a year now with no moisture inside the lenses.

Cool thanks guys. Think I'm gonna grab me a set, they'll definitely give the front end a mean look

@reelizimpro, it rains here a good bit in the winter, in the summer however, it never does

I tried to get a straight on pic to show how the crosshairs are not exactly perpendicular to each other. If you just follow the leading edge on the crosshair that runs top to bottom you can clearly see that it doesnt even match up to the markings on the glass. Annoying to have to modify to correct this.

You can get in there with a flathead and try to straighten it.

I'm thinking its more where the slots on the housing was cut. So a new slot needs to be cut. Resealed etc.
