    Paintscratch.com

    Vehicle: 1989 BMW 325
    Paint: Cinnabar 138
    2 12.5 oz. Basecoat Spray Can @24.95 $49.90

    Handling: $8.95
    Total Order: $58.85

Ordered the paint on their website on June 9th, the order didn't ship out
until June 16th and I had to e-mail them several times before I got a tracking number, the order arrived 4-5 business days after.

I used the paint to refinish my front and rear valences. The paint itself is
very high quality and matched perfectly, however I didn't like the nozzles they provided. The nozzles were the cheap kind that sprayed in a small
circular pattern rather than spraying in a fan like pattern. This meant less coverage. I wouldn't recommend using their spray cans for large jobs.
Overall I'm very happy, the valences look as if a professional painted them.

I've had similar experience with them.. the base coat is very nice, and it does match the factory paint perfectly. My only complaint is the clearcoat, I'm not sure if it's how I'm applying it or actually a defect of the product, but I always end up with the clearcoat "cracking" months down the road. it's worse with the "flex additive" paint for spoilers, because they tend to uh, flex. my wheels are painted with their stuff though and it's held up very well over the last 2 years.

their stuff is great for small parts like spoilers, mirrors, etc, and touch ups of course.

My Alpine White II didn't match at all. I've had parts of my car painted with new (not paint matched) AW-II, and it was identical to the rest of my car. The spray cans I got from paintscratch.com showed no resemblence to the original color, and cost me a good $100.

I used quik dry clear coat that the bodyshop at my dealer gave me, did
two light coats and one wet coat, seems to be holding up nicely but I can get away with a lot because of the chip coat finish. I was very very surprised that the paint matched so well and red is super hard to match up.

I am going to give them a try. I have just the 1/2 section of the EVO III front spoiler that needs painting.

paintscratch will not match. duplicolor matches better than paintscratch. its totally a waste of money.

WTF, you bumped a 3 year old thread with this retarded post?

mine matched perfectly as did others in this thread. your paint is probably just faded.

IMHO, it's OK to bump a review thread for an exact product, rather than start a new thread. I agree though that the spray-can paintscratch is good stuff & matches well. Duplicolor is very thin and runs like hell.

actually on the contrary quite a few others on teh forum also found their paints dont match. I got a can of alpine white 2 from them. The hood was recently respray at a reputable body shop, and I got hte paitn to do the lip and the side skirts. It turns out that the duplicolor white was a better match comparably to the paint scratch. IT may have been a bad batch by them, but for 20 dollar a can? It was not a good experience.

Sorry, I bumped an old post as I wasnt looking at the date, but no one writes on the review much at all, I dont know whats the big deal, I'm reviewing the product, not agreeing with the people that had good experiences.

Check with your local automotive paint supply house. Most of them can load spray cans matched to your car color. I got a lower price by buying three cans. About $18 each. Good quality paint too. Be sure to take your paint code.
