    666Fabrication skidplate

    My skidplate FINALLY showed up yesterday evening.
    I ordered it on the 18th of december....BUT it was well worth the wait.
    thankfully Jon volk was very nice and responded to all my emails and questions in a very prompt fashion!:D
    the skidplate itself is a very nice piece with beutiful welds and a nice decal of the companies web adress. although the hardware they supplied was a litle on the wimpy side it was nothing that a drill bit and some new bolts couldn't fix;)
    I'm sure most of the guys/Gals here on R3v already know of the high quality work that 666fab does, for those of you that don't i would HIGHLY recommend them. the ease of mind mind and protection that this skidplate provides is AWESOME!!!!!
    Price-$185 shipped

    A+++++++ :pimp: :-D :p

        I'll second this. I have one of Jon's skidplates on my Eta and they are a VERY nice product.

              Thanks for the kind words. Skidplate looks great installed. I like what you did with the hardware. I think we'll have to follow suit and supply similar pieces. Thanks for your patience as well. A new application combined with the holidays set things back a bit. Thanks again and we're always happy with the customer is pleased.

                any idea if the skid plate still fits with a 24v swapped e30. I believe my oil pan is sitting a little lower then a m20 varient, but I deffinitly wanna get your skid plate.

                    That price is shipped. You are just a cheapskate. Do you know how expensive a big piece of alluminum is + Jon's Time to cut it, bend it, weld on a piece and cut a hole in it. He needs to pay for his shop and buy groceries for himself and pay his personal bills. I don't think he is having any problem selling his product at his prices....being the only one out there..

                        I've ordered one just in case. What extra hardware do you need? And what drill bits?

                          We're going to include similar hardware so to what he used now. Speaking of which, yours will be shipped today. Metal shipped from Chicago rather than NJ so it took an extra 2 days. [/anger]

                            Oh thanks. And don't worry about getting it to me by the 18th, the rallyx was rescheduled for March, so no rush.

                              dude you are a fucking idiot! when you crack your first oil pan and have to deal with the price of a new one you will see that jons skidplate is easily worth 3X what he charges!!! He is providing an excellent product at an affordable price,Maybe you should start taking the bus if $185 is alot for a part, because when you seize your engine from oil starvation you won't be spending just $185!!! dumbass
                              Moition to ban!

                              btw when i finally find a decent 325is you can count on me ordering another skidplate from 666fab.

                              END(rant)

                              It sounds like jon has already taken care of it:up: but i think my setup is overkill. to each his own
