FS 4 and 5 lug stud kits for all e30s

Tired of balancing your wheel with one hand while trying to thread in a lug bolt with the other? Sick of dropping wheels on your feet when trying to put them back on your car? Save time at home and at the track, end the silliness of wheel bolts and Replace your lug bolts with a lug stud kit from Black Forest Industries.

The kits come with 16 1.75" long studs, 16 cone seat chrome lugnuts, allen key for the studs, lugnut allen drive key, single use red loctite, and 2 12mm bolts.

This length will work with up to a 3mm spacer and still retain the stock amount of thread engagement. We can also provide 2.125" studs for the same cost that will work with up to an 8mm spacer. The kits come with cone seat lugs. The 2 12mm nuts are to double nut the studs to torque them down during installation.

These kits are in stock and ready to ship. $55 shipped to the lower 48.

    We also have stud kits for 5 lug cars;

These include the same parts as the 4lug. On the 5 lug kits the stud is 12 mm to thread into the hub.In stock and ready to ship $65 shipped to the lower 48

the lug nuts use a key that comes with the set (14mm internal allen) so they also act as keyed lugnuts in a sense.

The lugs come in chrome and black. Black lugs are $5 more...

All OEM wheels are ball seat. 99.9% of aftermarket wheels are cone seat. These kits are cone seat. Thouhg we can get ball seat for an additional $10 for the set.

Er.. So can I use these with switching back and forth between OEM wheels and aftermarket when I switch wheels for autocross or put my winter tires on?

Same question. Can they be used with say, my borbets, then used when putting on my baskets with cheap rubber for auto-x?

Studs rock. I don't even want to remember what it was like with lug bolts.

EDIT: guys, they can be used with all wheels. They're the same as having lug bolts, except you screw on a nut instead of threading the whole bolt. The studs stay in all the time.

Simply put, if you take your wheels off more than the average person, or switch between track, winter, and summer wheels, or are constantly swapping pads at the track, YOU SHOULD HAVE STUDS. If you dont, you're just :loco:

if your aftermarket wheels are compatible with stock bolts (which are cone shaped), then these will work. fairly easy to understand.

                            Yes and no.

As stated OEM(stock) wheels use a ball seat in the wheel while aftermarket(borbet) use a cone seat. It is extremely dangerous to use the wrong type lug on a wheel, ie cone on a ball.

The studs are the same for either, you would just need both sets of lugnuts to switch beteen the two. That is a set of the cone seat lugnuts and a set of the ball seat. If you are using the same lugbolts now on both sets of wheels you are taking a big risk.

                              well, blackforest and Rob.....

fight it out and decided whether I'll need another set of nuts to use these studs with my basketweaves.

and in the case I do need ball nuts, how much are we talking $$
