You were right this whole time ejnight...it turns out someone said that their 22mm IE sways did the same. I think its just the way the bends are in my sway bar..I checked everything and snapped some pics when it hit me..

While my car was jacked in the air my sway bar was horizontal...someone told me it should sit horizontal while the car is on the ground. So i lowered the car with my jack and my sway bar points UP for some reason.

I believe its the design of the sway bar so ill have to get a different front sway to keep the cross-brace, which i def wanna keep. like i said, i like it a lot.

Heres pics of the bar set up and tell me if it looks normal and if you reach the same conclusion of it being the bar design.

and still having rubbing issues. this time I have pics tho. I tried putting washers in the bolts where it goes through the steering rack. Lowered the car and it immediately rubbed. I also dont like it this way cause the bolts just barely reach the nut..im not sure if theres enough bolt going through the nut up top so im going to try washers at the lolipops, where the cross brace connects there.

And this pic below is with the 3 washers. But the bolt only goes about HALF way through the nut up top..that bad?

I have a suspension techniques 22mm front sway and only HR sport springs. its not like im 2 low. I just dont want things rubbing making noise. Some ppl say it wont do anything and i should just not worry but i dont think the sway is seated where it should be since it rubs so hard first. and now rust!

If it is only made to fit up to 21mm sways that would be good to know ahead of time dont ya think..before my new equipment scrapes itself.
I mean i ordered mine from bavauto before i was a member of this forum and the hardware i got was installed with the cross brace. Dont get me wrong i love the handling & how it compliments a stiffer sway.

Just wish there werent fitment issues. And since theyre touching how harmful is that to my car?

...and let me be clear. i am not trying to bash on the product..it is worth the money. You will notice your car stay on line soo much easier/faster and it pulls out of apexes much better. I guess ill just be going to lowes. And personally after spending that kinda money i feel i shouldnt have to go to lowes..or at least i should know before buying and commiting to spend for a product ill have to change
Im not running any spacers. I'm not sure what bar you are running. It fits with my 25mm bar no mods needed and no spacers. I sugested the spacers to fix the problem. You are right its a pain. Sorry.

i love my sways and xbrace. dont wanna change sway sizes since i already paid so much for the ST kit and like the way it handles..plus its all marked up now.even if i wanna sell it and get a little smaller its damaged goods.lol no one will wanna buy it
