You could have 28 pins if yopu have a replacement DME in your car. Did you check the correct chip? It should have a plastic clip over it, and also a silvery looking label with a number that starts with 1 267 35 x xxx

If it does not have that label and bumber, you are looking at the wrong chip.

I make a 28 oin chip, but just have to be sure that is what you have.

The torque gains are over 22 ft-lbs @ 4800 rpm

Sorry, not normally. I am quite busy with my contracting work (was not even at my home office all week) and don't have time currently to work on anything custom, expecially if it means using time that I can bill for some other work.

I'll check the PM. I had not cheked the dsylvatech email as it's really for receiving orders, and this was a super bust week. Usually I go to the client's office once a week, but I was there almost every day except Thursday. And if any of you has tried to contact me and for any reason I did not reply, don't worry. Just ordered one for my M20. I've already got big injectors ordered (used) and am looking for an AFM with last 3 digits ‘027’ (this is off an M30 3.5 engine) which came on 7 series (1988) and 535is (e32’s early models). I still need to check what ECU I have. Does it matter that a non-standard cam has been installed? PO said it was a 288. I don't know what that means though, except a little rough idle / stumbling at idle.
