E30 rear disc upgrade in the works

I have figured out a way to make a larger rear brake for the E30's.
I'll be making the prototype to go on my 88 325 within the next couple of weeks.

I'm not sure of the rotor diameter yet; that will be determined by the spacing needed for the caliper brackets, although I suspect they will be somewhere around 11.5" or so. I plan on using a small 4 piston caliper.

This kit will require a larger front kit to maintain the stock brake bias.

I'll post some more info once I get the brackets made...

I'll believe it when I see it and when you get the ebrake to work.

Sorry if I can't post pics, I just haven't figured out how to do that.
If anyone doubts our legitimacy, please feel free to Google Fastbrakes and see what they find.

We routinely supply kits for SEMA show cars, as well as other venues.

In fact we have the largest selection of brake kits for Hondas and Nissans of any manufacturer. Ask anyone who circuit races a Civic or Sentra and they will probaly have one of our kits. We supplied kits to the Sentra SE-R Cup series for several years; with every podium finisher using our 11" 4 piston kit. Our kits have been to the Nurburgring, as well as the Bonneville Salt Flats.

I will have pics of the kit on my website once it is finalized.

E brake will function as normal since I will be using a stock rotor center, which has the drum center.

If you have any questions you can email or call us.

                  http://i960.photobucket.com/albums/a...e-Caliper1.jpg

                  what you do is:

just remove the quotations, i put them there so you could see where the link goes.

Some people just aren't computer savvy, no need to talk down to him.

OK I have figured out an easy solution to the larger rear disc issue while retaining the park brake.

I'm taking the parts to the machine shop today to have the first disc made, should have it back in a couple of days, then I'll work on the bracket.
