Here's a pic of the test rotor, have to make a couple of minor changes to it before I use it to mock up the bracket.

As you can see it's a vented design.

Looks like you're using a stock E30 rear rotor as a hat for a bolt-on rotor? If so I've always thought that'd be a neat way to retain the handbrake. Only downside is the lack of a cool billet aluminium hat! Look forward to seeing how this develops.

I agree the aluminum hat would be cooler (literally and figuratively), but the cost is too high for a limited run. I've made several other kits with the aluminum hats that act as the park brake drum and they just cost too much to justify.

Plus with the stock rotor, it will never wear out from park brake use.

Nice thing about this setup is you can go up to a 12.2" rotor just by getting the larger rotor and adding a spacer to move the caliper up.

Should have a bracket ready to test fit later this week. Test caliper arriving tomorrow.

Not sure of the final pricing yet.

Negative on the RX7 caliper brackets. Trying to figure out 11.8" 1 piece kit for 15" wheels.

Here's what the rear bracket will look like, at least to some degree. http://i960.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/P1010003.jpg

Bracket prototype work got sidetracked, machinist had another job to finish before he could cut the brackets. Should have them this week.

Have the rest of the kit (calipers, rotors, pads, etc) already...

Where would one go to get replacement rotors / pads when they're worn out?
