New Massive Race kit w/ floating discs

The three years old 300x32mm Race kit is now phased out in favor of a new evolution. Rotors themselve don't change, but hats and drive-pins will now allow float of the disc. That floating system has started a year ago on bigger kits and is now applied on the e30 Race kit. The Sport kit (300mm x 21mm - $1050.00usd) will stay the same for a while, priced in between the Street kit (280mm x 22mm - $750usd) and the Race kit ($1199.00usd).

The old kit was $1050usd + pads.
The floating kits w/ Superlite calipers will now be $1199.00usd + pads
The increase in price reflects the costs of producing drive-pins, and extra work on the hats.
That same kit but with radially mounted 6 pistons radial SL6R is $1699.00 usd + pads. Still $1200 less than an AP Racing kit which has thinner rotors and pads, and more costly to change).

Hats are currently in production and will be available in early January. I will offer free slotting ($40) and free BP20 Wilwood pads ($85usd) on all orders paid before the kits are ready to be shipped. As soon as they ship, the offer stops.

Im interested in a free float sport kit sooner then later.
What was the wheel needs for the race kit again for the E30? And was that a 5 lug requirement or are you doing it in a 4 lug?

Sorry i'm too lazy to go dig through the old thread or your web site for the info. Anyway this needs a Bump to the top Fo Sho!

All kits mentionned above are 4-lugs. If you run a 5-lugs from an e30 M3 or from an e36, then you must fit kits from an e30 M3 or from an e36.

      Fitment thread is here.

Lee, what is the cost to convert old race kits to this system?

        Thanks,
        Rob

It would require to change the hats to the newer style of hats and drive-pins. Rotors are the same.

I have a few rotors left that allow to use the old hats, with some stainless drive-pins. I experimented with it and found that it works well but is more expensive on the long run as rotors are $50 more per unit.
