The three years old 300x32mm Race kit is now phased out in favor of a new evolution. Rotors themselve don't change, but hats and drive-pins will now allow float of the disc. That floating system has started a year ago on bigger kits and is now applied on the e30 Race kit. The Sport kit (300mm x 21mm - $1050.00usd) will stay the same for a while, priced in between the Street kit (280mm x 22mm - $750usd) and the Race kit ($1199.00usd).
The old kit was $1050usd + pads.
The floating kits w/ Superlite calipers will now be $1199.00usd + pads
The increase in price reflects the costs of producing drive-pins, and extra work on the hats.
That same kit but with radially mounted 6 pistons radial SL6R is $1699.00 usd + pads. Still $1200 less than an AP Racing kit which has thinner rotors and pads, and more costly to change).
Hats are currently in production and will be available in early January. I will offer free slotting ($40) and free BP20 Wilwood pads ($85usd) on all orders paid before the kits are ready to be shipped. As soon as they ship, the offer stops.
