i talked to harland sharp recently and they are ready to take on the project whenever i send them a head to start the work. it needs to be a good head. i would send one to them unfortunately they are in ohio and i am not, and i just don't have a head i can spare until later in the spring (april-may ish). does anyone live inn that area with an extra head.

i went to ups.com and got dome good news - i think

if i remember correctly the head weighs about 35-40 ish pounds and i figured if you make a wooden cradle for the head to be protected in, then boxed it we'd have a total box weight of 75 lbs max - thereabouts. so i calculated based on that, if time is not an issue - for me it's not we'd be looking at 46.40 via ups ground. now i did calculate this based on shipping out on a tuesday i used 3/9/10 and thats what i got so if you send it tomorrow it might be different. i would be willing to help with the costs, harland sharp said (in the past) it would not be a problem to return the head to the original owner but shipping would need to be worked out.
