My 1991 318is M42 came with a Dinan chip( 91 oct-7100 rev limit). I was curious to the difference between Mark D and the Dinan chip for the M42 if anyone has side by side comparisons..

I'm new to the engine management-mod circuit.....would I need a custom one for my 2.9L unfinished stroker? or would the regular 93 octane/stock injector chip work (since that's what I'll be running).

Dont need to buy new, buy from ebay from a reputible seller which sells flow matched/cleaned. should be less then 90 shipped.
