Went to order a DSSR, but I don't see the one I need listed? I'm running a 97m3 trans and shift console, so I believe I need a 198mm rod. I'll call monday to find out whats up.

I like the customer service at UUC Motorwerks. I had a blown clutch on my s50b32 swap and Rob gave me another at no charge. I was honest with him about the situation and he took care of it.

        Thanks,

The length of the necessary selector rod will not be the same as the original one used by that transmission; remember that the lengths of selector rod and shifter carrier vary by chassis/transmission combination to put the shifter in the correct location.

As there are a variety of M5x motor and trans swap conversions for the E30 chassis, there is not single answer as to what you need. We can supply a variety of lengths, and even do custom parts, if supplied with exact dimensions.

Ok. I know the first one I bought was the wrong length; my fault due to measuring with the wrong shift console. What dimensions would you like me to get for you?

Put the transmission in neutral, and place the lever where neutral should be. Measure from the center of the shifter lower pivot hole to the center of the selector joint on the transmission as precisely as possible.

Holy crap....I didn't realize UUC was 10 miles away from me. Can I pick up orders right from the source?

                      A couple questions:
                      - your website says Z3 fitment coming for DSSR. I'm running a factory Z4 shifter on an M42 318, will that fit my setup?

                      - will the Oil Center fit the M42 engine?

I am in Roswell and willing to donate my car to be a guinea pig for discounts :D
