mine is OEM and is an actual tray that sits on top of the battery cover. The one pictured looks more like a divider.
I will take pictures of mine.
Well, I say I will, but I am moving to Texas in a week, and my bestfriend/roommate is getting married on saturday. BUSY week. I will try to take pictures.
well, while we're having a penis measuring contest...
I have three of them, all new or less than two years old. None are for sale.
Back to the topic at hand, I like the idea of having a divider instead of the factory piece. The factory thing only seems to be useful for someone with a lot of useless shit in their car, where Eric's would serve to hold a sweatshirt or small bag. Simple effective design :)
Schneider325's picture is correct - that is the OEM one. The reason it is so divided up is that from the factory it comes with a long triangle kit (you know the warning Triangle that in Europe you are required to put it on the road if you have a flat tire -to warn people), and then the big compartment comes with a BMW first aid kit. I have both of these and still keep them in there - you never know when you might need them.... Then there are really only two leftover compartments, and I believe one of them holds that black metal tirestop that goes under the wheels to stop them. I throw a few other misc things in there like bulbs, screws, and sometimes I can wedge a can of WD-40 in there between the top of the organizer and the side of the trunk. This thing has proved very useful over the years (came with our Euro-Delivery model) .....

I have the blue triangle holder and the first aid kit as well. Don't know about the tirestop. I also use mine to hold small randome things, usally sunscreen abd bug spray and a quart of oil!! I still don't know what all the sticky stuff is though and how to get it off, so right now it's empty. :(
Well the sticky stuff is definately not OEM, LOL. Mine's dry. Someone must have spilled a coke back - maybe they set it down in there because it is so convenient to store stuff ---then forgot about it and it rolled around....
