What would lead you to believe either of these statements, especially given your choice of spring rate?

I just got mine on(see Shanghai Alley thread in Members Rides) I'm running the kit spring rates that Jack chose #500/#600, and while it is stiff, its not unbearable.

The AST damper does a great job of muting a lot of the smaller road ripples and bumps.

To be honest, I think this setup runs much more comfortable than my Bilstien Sports and Eibach Competition spring/shock setup that I was running previous.

The way this setup corners; however, is simple retarded. It is the definition of "on rails." There isint a hint of body roll, it is totally 100% flat cornering. I can put power down much sooner than before and the difference is astounding.

I'm running stock sway bars just preloaded with adjustable links, and I cant believe how the car rotates. (P4 front/P6 rear)

Huge thumbs up for Jack at Elephant, not only has he delivered a great product at a competitive price, but he goes above and beyond in support of his goods. Any questions or concerns I have had via email or phone, Jack as been able to respond almost immediately.

        Thanks again Jack,

Update on these..........I expect to have pretty firm timing on this stuff next week but hopefully I'll have it all here before the end of July, I'm getting a ton of stuff in around then. Right now interest has picked up considerably and I only have a few sets left, they are selling out a bit quicker than I anticipated. Just a heads up for anyone interested.

            Cheers.

The delivery ride on AST's for E30's has been bumpy but we finally have made some headway! We have many sets of E30 4100's IN STOCK, no waiting.

              Some additional benefits:

              1. Choose your spring rates. No additional cost to choose the rates you desire as long as they're available! With our extensive and direct E30 experience we can help you select rates based on your particular situation.

              2. SEMA pricing! Celebrating AST USA's first year at SEMA there is a 10% discount on several AST models through November. This means the E30 kit is now just $1796!

There is nothing on the market even comparable to this performance at this price, NOTHING! And AST is the only damper company to produce a high end single adjustable monotube damper for the E30!

Let me know if there are any questions. Cheers.

How long do you anticipate this price to stay as is?

                        Thanks

It's actually only through the end of November. I thought it was supposed to be end of year but I was mistaken, sorry for any confusion.

                          Cheers.

                            Jack,

For the less savvy members of the board such as myself, can you give a run down on the pros/cons of urethane vs spherical RSMs?

I've done a search but can't come up with much.
