Communication with SEAM?

Anyone else having trouble getting hold of SEAM BMW? I've been calling and e-mailing for the last few days with no reply, trying to check on the status of this order. It SEEMED last week like the Catback would be sent right out, but I've not been able to talk to anyone since then to get confirmation that SEAM has'em in stock, etc. Hmm. All I'm getting is no one answering the phone or a busy phone when I call repeatedly. Suggestions? SEAM seems like a great outfit, but we're at their mercy at this point. :(

go look at IE's website..it says backorder for the exhausts...i even called them as i stated in an earlier post, and they said that they won be getting another shipment in until mid april...

i am wondering how this is going to work out, being as how IE is completely out of stock on their exhaust, and isnt getting a new batch in till the middle of april....so dont be too anxious to send out your money, just to have to wait around for a few weeks.

I finally DID get hold of SEAM BMW. They stated that the IE CatBack IS out of stock: they expect/hope for delivery Mid-April and will start shipping immediately. They were apologetic about the delays: at the mercy of IE suppliers, just as IE is. When Spring arrives people frantically start ordering parts to soup-up their cars. Interesting note: one staffperson (NOT at SEAM) stated the Catbacks were made in China, and another stated they were made in USA. Chinese manufacture (where almost ALL exhaust systems are made to high-end supplier specs) would make the systems cheaper, even with shipping. It seems exhaust systems are a pretty high profit item. :oops:

Well SEAM called me today to get my car info and to state that it would be at least 3 weeks. Oh well, I guess this is a good price.

i saw that the credit card whose info i gave to seam was charged today; i just found this out and tried calling to confirm it was shipped but its after 5pm colorado time and i only got a busy signal. i will try to reach them tomorrow

I apoligize to all of you for the delay but we are at the mercy of Ireland Engineering and their incoming shipment of parts. I'd also like to apoligize for our slow response time my brother in law just got back from his second tour in Iraq and we were making sure he had a good time while he was state side. We will be responding to every email and phone call we have had since we have been gone so that we can get your orders processed and ready to go right when Ireland recieves its new batch of Catbacks. To speed up delivery times we will have Ireland ship the Catbacks straight from there store to you. i'm not real sure what the status of this thread is, but is it too late to get in? our cabrio really needs a cat back exhaust. If i can still get in, i've got the money. someone who knows what is going on pm me or something.
