Another idea here kids, what would you all think about having these produced (the insert in the top of this shift knob)? They would be super-easy to make.

BMW makes this insert already. Bought mine from Bavauto, don't know if they still have em. I can post the part number tomorrow if anyone wants it.

YES. I have run into 3 brick walls trying to find this. Part number? Everything I find comes up NLA for the round inserts.

So will the shift knob emblem be an entire new emblem, domed overlay, or a flat overlay on the current knob?

I would be interested in both the motorsport and the tri-strip one. I am interested to see what the motorsport one will look like with the shift pattern. I will keep an eye on this thread!
