Not sure what you mean. I can explain if you let me know what you need to know. It goes in place of the stock unit off your slave. Is that what you mean>? Its a direct replacement

OH ok. i was under the impression that wit went from the Res to the master cylinder

no difference for the m42 right? I would assume not, maybe bent a little different?
