just bought some VDO gears a week ago, threw them in tonight and they work better than new! those oem ones are like half rubber half plastic lol, like three gears were eaten out of the one that connects to my E1 gear. and the E1 gear was nastied up, broke in half when i tried to remove it.
thanks a ton garagistic!

Got the gears.
Installed the gears.
Win.
I like how you include some extra little yellow spacer thingies. I was noticing on the old gears that the tooth wear was probably mainly due to the fact that they could slide in and out on their pins. I used some scrap plastic sheet to try to keep them fully engaged, but the damage was done. These new ones should last another 20+ years!
