where can you get a fiberglass one, I've been looking. I just want a hood that weighs 14lbs or less and then paint it my body color, fitment matters a little but not much.

there is a street (17lbs) and race (12lbs) version. the race has to have hood pins.

Ireland Engineering sells fiberglass hoods, as already mentioned.

yeah that's what I'll probably get, I like the 14lb but do you think hood pins would look ugly?

i think hood pins might be nice if you need to get to the front of your hood. I only like the hood pins w/ the wire on them. you know which ones i'm talking about, i don't have a pic of it. if you do go w/ a hood w/ pins check out Korman's cause its only 12lbs.

I can't find a price for korman's and then I don't know how much shipping will be.

greensboro is a little over 5 hour drive but I'll pick it up if shipping is about 125 or more.

So with paint, I'm probably saving 22lbs with their street hood. I guess it's kinda worth it if you plan on doing audio upgrades, like I am.

thats funny. b/c i got a $450 quote for pickup, and an additional $50 for shipping...but i live in cali...
