All of these shocks are supposed to be top adjustable. I will double check the ones on my car tomorrow and will report back.

A side note on the short-body GC shocks, I just received a set of these with my coilovers and the part number on them is actually for a VW Corrado (re-valved). The tube has the same dimensions, but is approx. 4" shorter than the standard e30 shocks. In order to use these you will need to make a set of bushings/spacers to fit in the bottom of the strut tube to make them useable. I do not advise cutting the strut tubes shorter for use on street vehicles...for more info, check here:

FYI: Check the GB section to see if your name is on the list, if not PM me with your specific needs. I'm currently working with two of you to try and get a complete set together (1 person for fronts and 1 for rears = 1 set). Those two have not yet shown up on the list until we get everything straightened out. Your name does not go on the confirmed list until I receive your payment.

**Also, upon checking with my distributor, I just need a minimum of 15 full sets of shocks (Koni) in order to get the discounted pricing. If you have another car that you need shocks for, let me know. I now have the full app guide and price sheet at my disposal. We'll be able to work something out.

We're close guys...let's get this done!

Im might be in for a full set but probably not. I was watching some koni fronts on ebay that were new but had been opened and i thought they would go for cheap but they went for 265+15 shipping. I've also been offered some bilsteins with 10k for 250

Actually, I ordered a set from GC a month ago and they came with the correct spacers to make the shock fit a stock strut. Probably a good idea to double-check when ordering though.

You might get a few more people on board if you advertise over on e30tech.com

Edit: nevermind. Just noticed it's already over there.

i think even their regular length body struts are short no? in which case the short body konis would be ~4" shorter than stock struts?

Lets just say the level of discount I thought I would be getting isn't what I had in mind. This GB is alot cheaper.

But I am now to understand 15 sets of Koni's must be sold for the price to be $470 shipped?

I've got the cash in my Paypal, but I am reluctant to send it to you and wait god only knows how long until enough people jump in. Keep my posted though, as I do infact need these.

Standard Koni SA replacements are the same length as stock. I will have to call GC tomorrow and find out what the deal is with me receiving the VW Corrado shocks, because I'll admit I'm a little baffled. I know for a fact that the strut insert replacements I received are more than 3" shorter, because the spacer I had to make was more than 3" long. Both of my spacers were 3.450" long. I apologize, but I should have been more specific rather than saying approx. 4 inches. But close enough. :P

I am still curious as to why I didn't receive any spacers for them from GC though...

*Edit: Jordan, the price for 15 sets or more is $450 shipped. The $470 is for a total under 15 sets. If I get the full 15 sets by December 9th (I'm not waiting indefinately), I will refund $20 to everyone on the Koni GB.

I can do this group buy at any time, but in order to get this pricing again, we'd be looking at another 15 sets. Major reason I can get the price that low is because once I get an order that size, I don't get charged freight from Koni to get the shocks. But again...the 15 set minimum.

                                Oh, awesome.

Still very much onboard, although I will hold my own money for the time being.
