Feeler: SS/T DOT Brake Lines from Korman

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in Korman's stainless steel/teflon brake lines since there seems to be such a sudden intrest in SS brake lines. I have not talked to them yet but w/out any deal the brake lines are about $75 and about $85 for the ix people. THESE ARE DOT APPROVED!!!!

Do they have plastic sheathing? From a post I made in the SS line thread in the appropriate forum, take a look at this:

My car is 20 years old with the original lines, I'm pretty much in, I'll give em a whirl if the price is right. Does Korman make them, or are they resold taiwanese specials?

        Korman does not make them.

You could not pay me to do business with Korman.

is it all 6 lines, or just the 4 for the corners.

I will admit, that I was cheap, and only did the 4 corner lines, and not the two on the rear subframe. I didnt have the time nor patience to do it. Besides, those lines looked pretty decent, and were nice and clean. Eventually I'll do them.

how much for the 4 rear lines for an ix? who makes them for korman? As long as it is a quality company (i assume it is) i will take a set for the rear.

I think the ix still has 6 lines...and Korman wouldn't sell them if they weren't quality ;) the ix kit is $85 before a GB.

Is anyone else intrested in a ss brake line GB? We are going to need more intrest to make this happen.

What is the point of doing any if you are not going to do all? NONE. The advantage of the ss lines is they do not expand. If there are still expanding lines in the loop you have negligable change.

This would do well in the 1/2 completed project thread.
