          Um.. they are for all intents and purposes the same "headers"

          IE revised the design by making the primarys longer, and closer to equal length. They then made the downpipes not a assinine design.

          If you must have one, the IE's are a FAR better choice.

              but are they better than stock jordan. thats the real point here, in upgrading the car you go for something thats better than what you have, not everyone can go straight to the best option

                IMO either of these header sets are purely for looks. If thats all you are looking to upgrade then they are a reasonable upgrade. If you are looking for a genuine power gain then these are NOT for you.

                If you buy either do definately opt for the ceramic coating.

                Here is what IE or MSDS headers look like in their default bare steel, after a couple months.

                  The gods honest truth here is that the factory stock manifolds that came on all m20b25 cars are quite well and adequate for a stock and or mildly modified engine. I mean hell I made 206hp/213tq with a completely stock exhaust with a different muffler can welded on.

                    mine aren't rusty, and they were used before I had them.. but I kinda agree with jordan. I didn't notice much difference going from stock exhaust manifolds to the IE headers (I'm not using that shitty collector design either, just say no to 90 degree bends!). The newer style IE look better, but I think I'd rather have full length headers.

                    Mainly my stock exhaust was in bad shape, I got the headers through a trade, and I figured what the hey? in the end I could have just gotten a set of full length headers though, it cost a small fortune to have these put on with custom downpipes. They DO sound pretty nice though.. :)

                      So were your 600$ bavauto headers worth it?

                      As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
                      You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

                        Absolutely. I didn't pay anywhere near that though.
