I think we will have to vote on wheel style and color. Unfortunately not everyone is going to get exactly what they want.

            1) you (Herbert)
            2) me (Robert)
            3) 2002maniac
            4) Q-ship (said would put it down today cuz he'll have the $ now)
            5) Bimmersteven (when four others are already down for it)

p.s. Steve, you won't actually be charged until there are 5 of us, so putting down a deposit will only be a factor when there are already four others who do the same

Give me till Sunday and I'll have my mind made up. Are we allowed to get 16s if we want or did I read 2002maniacs post wrong?

THe 16x8 buy is closed and has been processed. I put my deposit down on that a while ago.

                  15x8 or bust now.

                    Rota's

                    Herb,

Just curious about et 20 w/ no spacers etc..........

I run 15/7 w/ et 27 and with 225/50's I am right up near frt strut tube with inner tire. W/ .5 inch more rim on each side you would need @ 14mm offset to maintain this strut clearance. At 20 you will now be 6mm CLOSER to strut tube......how will a spacer NOT be needed? or am I mistaken...OR are you using a diff size tire?
I love sitting down and just driving!

                      http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

Plug in the numbers and there is a 1mm differance inner than the Ronal LS (7.5 wdth et 25), Rotas (8 wdth et20).

Hope that helped, and if I'm wrong now is the time to correct me.

                      sinserely,

Dang, I go away for a little while and this takes off!! I had just about lost hope....so I didn't make the deposit today. If they are open tomorrow, it will be done tomorrow-otherwise Monday morning-I promise!

So, among those in now, we are going for Slipstreams (for sure) and flat black? The other color I personally kinda like is the Charcoal grey (also brake dust friendly), but black is fine by me.

This is actually going to happen!! Thanks guys!!

My 16x8's are going to be flat black so I would prefer something else for these.

                            Steel grey?

If we're "go" for flat black Slipstreams (which we can all paint once they're received!) then I'm in.

For me, whatever works, there's a powder coating shop down the street. Flat Black or the like is prefered though.
