What Method Does one use as payment for the deposit? Credit card i assume? I don't want to bother Jessica for a trivial question like that.
Will i need to roll the fenders for these?? And what tires is every one planning on running? My e30 and e28 are both up for sale::

Credit card.
Can we get a list of those who have deposits made and their color preference?

I just put mine in, Jessica asked if we had come to a decision on color. I told her I thought that it would be Steel grey, but we hadn't decided for sure. I told her the final word would come from Herb, hope that is ok with everyone(especially you, Herb!) She also wanted to make sure of the offset. I ordered 5 wheels, the deposit is still $100.
No extra charge for the Steel grey, BTW.1973 BavariaComment

hey, i was wondering if you could remember how much space you had left between the tire and strut with your 225 kumhos and the et22 koseis 15x8.
thanks
i appreciate itOriginally posted by whitneyAbout 5mm or 1/4 inch - couldn't squeeze my pinkie in there. No rub w/ victoracers, but I bet a wider tire like a Hoosier or maybe a 710 could have rubbed a little.
Good luck!Originally posted by whitneyJust to be clear - the victo's were 225-50-15. I wouldn't hesitate to use any other 225s and either live w/ the rub or add a spacer.
I heavily rolled the rear lips and slightly did the fronts. Front was only a problem undfer heavy cornering.Comment

Using the calculator, the et20 is 2mm more clearance in and extra 2mm out, the question is, is that optimal? Or should we go to a lower offset? et20 WILL work, but if we can have it ANY way we want, lets get the best. And that is why I have posted the question all over to find out. (someone put the bug in my ear though, thanks for the pm).

I have seen 15x8" wheels for sale here in Germany, and all the ones I have seen are Et20. I believe that is optimal.
It does depend on the tires and suspension that you have, of course. Some 225s are wider than others (R-compounds, for example). Some springs are wider than others.
So you may or may not have to roll your fenders. This will also be determined by ride height. There are lots of variables.
But 20mm offset is just about perfect, as a compromise.Comment

So we can close the book on this, and order. . . what color agian.:Dbmpr stkr: real racers go left and right... so truComment

Just talked to Jessica and she can't wait to finish this up for us (in a good way), she has had calls for immediate purchase, she is awsome and a huge help.
I'm hoping by Friday we can order... but we'll see.bmpr stkr: real racers go left and right... so truComment

Yeah, I was pretty anal about getting the perfect offset. I calculated 20mm to be perfect.
