Feeler: Sport Leather skins

I have brought this up in the past, but I have the time on my hands to actually do it now.

As per the r3vLimited writeup, I plan to carefully dismantle my sport seat, and create a template.

I would like to have a nice order of willing buyers before I start. I already am making one set needed right now...

I have learned that it is better to invest and make the product before accepting payment. Therefore, I will gauge interest, then create supply.

I would like to be able to make them all out of one material, be it black vinyl or black leather. I will add a poll to this thread to see what type most people want. Bulk orders of material are cheaper than small orders...

I would like to do several fronts before I get into rear seats, as there are several types, and the only one I have access to is for a convertible.

10 individual seats will be a good goal. and Price will depend on what material I end up using.

That will be an option. My Mercedes has it on gray leather. It is great for heat, wheather you want heated seats or it is a hot Summer.

yeah i can see how that might be true, oh i forgot to ask, would you be able to do a horizontal stitch like m3 seats... if its a vert stitch it wont match my rear seat

I'd be very interested depending on price. I could go for either cloth or leather, but I'm not sure about color. I have a tan interior, so, unless I changed it all to black that wouldn't really work. Anyone dyed all their vinyl sides & carpet to black?

u cant dye vinyl...u have to paint it.
