A decent manifold is typically the toughest thing to get for any turbo setup. Intercooler plumbing can be accomplished quite easily with DIY kits from ebay and such. The top mount turbo makes routing this even easier than trying to snake it forward with a rear/low mount. Exhaust is a fairly easy proposition for just about any shop or backyard guy with a welder. Engine management is where you should really spend some extra money.

Theres no magic to turbocharging an M42. Its no different than an M20 or any other motor for that matter, if you cut corners and dont tune properly your asking for trouble.

Fucking awesome looking product you have there Jon. Kudos to you for making an M42 manifold. Makes me want to buy an M42 car and force feed it, lol.

For those interested in wastegate placement.

Room for a 3" downpipe......3.5" if you massage the firewall a bit.

Its OK, I figure the M42 guys weren't expecting anything to actually be available so they need to save their pennies. Funny thing is most of the orders Ive gotten for the M42's so far have been out of the country.
