Sorry to any of you who thought I was actually fabricating these parts. I am only the guy who lent him the parts he is using for molds. Because Max is busy and a little difficult to contact at this point I am in closest contact with the fabricator.
The map pockets are overlays, because he cannot recreate the shape of the hooks on the original these pieces will have to be glued on to the original. He does have a door pull that he is considering doing. Again it would have to be an overlay but I'm not sure he will even be able to do them as they are kind of a complex shape.
The splitter should be around an 1/8'' thick.
Any other questions you guys have let me know and I can talk to him.Comment

Depends on what you are doing as there are a few differant methods of doing CF or kevlar work. Most CF or composites work is done with an autoclave to give it better bond vs just a lay up that doesn't yield much strength.
Plenty of books and info on the web out there.Comment

I don't know how I missed this thread. Someone needs to pick this up and start making some of the suggested products obviously there is a good amount of money to be made. I can lay glass also and pretty well but have never messed with CF. Where can you buy the matting? Is there a special resin that needs to be used?sigpicComment
