Carbon Fiber anyone?

So is there going to be a Ryan G-style splitter and if so how much would it cost? He's got a group buy going on for the plastic ones but I think I'd rather have carbon.

There WILL be one. No doubt about that. Thats one of the main things that we want to make. Its not going to compete with his price though. I'm guessing its going to cost more than $100 for the CF piece.

You know what.... Maybe we'll do a full iS lip with splitter molded in..... Anyone interested in that?

I'd actually be more interested in that if it were just fiberglass because I'd want to color match it with the rest of my car. Any idea of price on said item?

These are only my GUESSES guys..... A fiberglass version of a molded iS lip AND splitter combo.... around 200 or so. Carbon fiber would be around 300 or so. The reason its going to be so much is because of the size of the piece of carbon to be used. I'm guessing high and hoping for lower. This SHOULD be the case as I spoke with some of you about in pm's.

Will the fiberglass mtech1 spoiler have the mounting studs in it or will we have to epoxy some in?

We are going to address that issue once he gets his hands on one and sees what its going to take to make it work. If its setup so that you can epoxy them in..... Then we'll do the work for you and just lay them in between layers of glass or carbon fiber. Problem is... finding one to send him.

*LOL* Prices will be out soon guys. Thanks to another forum member he got to some parts yesterday and should have already started with some prototypes. Some of you may already have pm's with pricing. I have already discussed some side projects with other people so look for that stuff to pop up in the next few months. I would imagine within the week I'll have a GB started for iS lips molded with splitters in 3 options. Fiberglass, fiberglass with 1 layer of CF and full 5 layer CF. Keep checking back for pricing.

i would for sure buy a kidney grill, and depending on when it comes out, the CF iS lip, probably the 1 layer one depending on pricing. maybe 2 of each, i'd have to ask my brother

its been a while since I have been on R3V but I would be in on the functional sunroof if that can happen and also the mtech carbon wing. Also the misc little parts depending on how much money I have left;)
