i received the splitter. looks good. the only thing i didn't appreciate was getting smacked in the face by the curled up splitter when i opened the box. you had that thing coiled up so tightly. everybody watch out when they open the box. maybe wear a hockey mask.

That is impressive... I have had many customers tell me that even one short burst up to 90mph ripped it off. One of them went back to get the splitter but it had been run over by a truck... The splitter was fine, but the iS lip was broken into about 6 peices... The iS lip will break before the splitter does... I just tell people to zip tie it to be safe. Also, you can't see them from the outside and the chance of someone stealing it is less likely. You can simply pull the lip off the car, but when it is zip tied 10 times, it takes a lot more than just a gentle tug to remove it...

To answer your question about downforce, they do offer *some* downforce. They have been known to rip the iS lip off at 100+ mph, so I advise all of you to get new clips for the lip and to use a few zip ties along the front and ends of the spoiler to the valance to help hold onto the lip.

I have the first 10 splitters cut, I need to shape them and pack them, which I should have all 10 done before 5pm friday, so they will ship out friday afternoon. I have 18 sold so far. I will be doing another batch on saturday (if all goes well) and everyone should have their splitter shipped out before Friday Feb 9th. I will not be able to make the M-Tech 2 splitters for a little while longer until I get my car back, so those of you waiting on those will need to wait just a bit longer.

Yea, just e-mail me and we can meet up. I will still make them after I move but it could be a while. I bought enough plastic to produce 30 of them, and I figure I will sell around 20 in this GB. I want to make the last 10 to have in stock when people want them, as it will be at least 3-6mo before I get a chance to make more. Where u at in SB? I am out in Winchester Canyon...
