Could you tell us more about the front shock replacement? What the old shock was versus what the new shock will be? How these are comparable/difference. I plan on using H&R race springs, Are the Koni's in this group buy what I want for these springs? I'm guessing I want the shorter fronts? or do you think I should get regular E30 fronts for these?

If you think these are good for my set up...I'm in.

Thanks Slyder....you're about to add some joy to my life.

Hey J, I doubt Adrian still wants in on the group buy since he sold his car, so it looks like you are at 7.

Come on people, this is a great kit. I've been driving the shit out of my car with these coilovers for months now, and they are working out great.

The new front strut inserts are designed to handle much tougher road conditions and stiffer spring rates of up to 750#/inch in the front (even higher the Turner Motorsport's J-Stock rates). The other versions distributed with the previous kits were designed with the upper limit on the springs being around 450-475#/in.

The new shocks are still short-bodies (same dimensions as the previous short bodies), so installation of the kit will be exactly the same. The shocks are tougher and will last much longer, especially if you plan on tracking your car. I'll also be selling a double adjustable version of the front insert in the near future.

Erik....thanks for the heads up on this. It's a shame....that car was AMAZING. I hope it when to someone that will really appreciate it.

Also, just to give everyone a heads up...after this GB goes through, the price on the kit will be going up to around $1699. The new components are more expensive and I'm going to have to raise prices.

You can turn the adjuster easily by hand... Why do you need a wrench?
Even if I had a fancy spanner wrench, I wouldn't even use it.
I bought Jason's first kit and have adjusted the height many times trying to get the perfect stance and have never had any troubles adjusting them by hand.
I was actually impressed how easy these adjust. It takes longer to unbolt my wheels than it does to change my ride height...

I don't need it but it would be nice to have cause I paid for it. It was promised to us months ago and still no word. Other people and I have asked numerous times and we keep getting ignored. I don't see why such an easy question cant be answered.

I'd like to be a part of this group buy, but I'd like to hear comparisons between this kit, ground control, and the TCkline kits...Money in hand and ready to go pending reviews. Also, what spring rates are available, and what would you suggest for a car that is primarily used for street driving with the occasional auto-x and bi-annual tracking event?

I think we have 7 as of now...which isn't really enough for the gb.

I'm about ready to back out. Or just order them from him myself. I'm only saving $100 through the group buy, which isn't even 10%. Problem is, while I'm sure he's busy, I'm not crazy about the customer service that I've read about in this thread. Sorry, ~$1500 sent off to someone so that they can order parts themselves, and all those lead times? I think I'm just going to pass.
p.s. I guess I'll probably just go with IE3's and Billie Sports.
