Ok guys...we are getting down to the wire...I have 4 people so far that are confirmed for this kit. Please send me a PM to let me know for sure whether or not you are still in and I can update this list. I know I have a couple of you that are looking to get your hands on this soon...so I would rather have everyone save than have to take another one off the GB list.

Since we have a large number of unconfirmed people, I'm still looking for 2 more folks.

Well, these won't bump me up anymore class than lowering springs, not sure what spring rates I want just yet, but I'm definitely in for this gb.

surely someone on this forum is dying for a c3motorsport coilover kit. Come on we need one more person on board to make this group buy a reality.

I wish I would've gone with even higher spring rates when I ordered mine. Either way though, the kit is sweet, so whoever is out there teeter-tottin on the thought of purchasing this kit, just DO IT! you won't regret it.

Anyways, what's the price if I already got the bilstein shocks? (include special perch). Posted on Baye30net but never got the price.

What kind of rates would everyone suggest for an m20 car that is possibly (probably...) going to be turbo also. Would it differ a lot from an m10 car? Reason I ask is that I've got a few and these might get swapped around a bit ;)

Will be 90% track/autox use, will have to be driven to/from track for the most part.

does anyone know if the aluminum m3 control arms would work well with this coilover setup? Would they be difficult to install? Any welding required?

I did respond on the thread to this, I just didn't know that you were still interested. Please check your PM. I am sending you a price there.

AlarmedBread: It depends on how hardcore you want your set-up to be. Road-course track use will place different demands on your shocks than autoX. For most people, I recommend the 450/750 setup. Good sway bars added on to that will keep the car civil on the street with a little extra stiffness for the corners without making the ride more harsh.

If you want something more like what I have on my car combined with what Ryan will be getting (I'm running 500F/950R + stock 325is sways front and rear with M3 front linkage), we can do that. Unfortunately, if you want to go that stiff there will be a slight upcharge because we will have to use a different shock in the rear to accommodate the much stiffer spring. 850 is about the max that this rear shock was designed to handle.

elguapo84: There is some welding required for the front strut assemblies. You will need to cut off the factory perch, grind smooth and weld on the new coilover perches. Also, if you want to add the M3-style swaybar mounting point, you will need to weld those on as well. Instructions are included with the kit. As for the aluminum control arms, they are a direct sway for the ones you have now. They are a lighter piece with stronger ball joints.

sorry i haven't searched this, but what is the difference between these coil overs and the ground control setup besides buying from the local "little guy"

(no disrespect in calling you the little guy, just saying your not as big as KW or even GC for that matter)

                                thanks
