Sorry, It's a crazy mixed-up world. Confused is okay.

You can grab a plate filler made for US plates at your dealer.

Alright, everyone calm down a little. I was mis-informed by my supplier.

No hard feelings. Text on the forum doesn't convery emotion very well. :)

Either way, I cannot get the pre-88 Euro filler cheaper than the dealer posted price. So I suggest you order that from a dealer if you want them.

Price for the filler I posted is $34 shipped as before. I can also get the similar filler for the pre-88 cars. Price of the pre-88 filler is $35 shipped.

It's okay, just don't tell me I'm wrong when I'm not.

be wise to change the title of the thread, and inform the people interested the product is different.

wow I'm interested, I just cant decide which filler I want.

Given I have a black car, I dont think it'll make a whole hell of a difference if I go with the Euro style filler. Franz's car however looks very nice.

So unsure.... I'll definetly look into getting something for the car.

Cool. I'd like to make sure I got this right.. The US filler is the same as the Euro one, except the holes are drilled in the correct spots, and readily accepts the US plate. Where on the other hand the euro filler is drilled for euro plates, however not drilled to fit on the car without modification.

                Am I correct? :)

I don't have a dealer in my area, so I may take Jonathan up on this offer soon..

Nope, euro and US fillers are more different than that..

Just called the dealer and it's about $60 for part # 51-13-1-888-463 with BMWCCA discount.

Thought it was supposed to be like $30

That's what Greg said at his place. Maybe your place adds % to the parts like mine does, and you discount sucks......some places have 25% discount and think and don't balloon prices. I'm not sure. I was thinking they were more expensive, around the $50 range personally.

If you guys are still interested, I'll post up payment details this weekend. Sorry I haven't posted sooner, been busy with school.

Just got into another accident today, some guy in a Nissan Altima rear-ended me in the Saab I've been driving around.
