Laser Jammers!!! ...errrr, I mean, laser parking assist

    Hey!

We have a SUPER COOL new product. These have been tested and true by myself and two of my closest friends over the last 2 months, and are finally ready for retail sale!

The product is called "Laser Pro Park", and basically, it is a parking assistant, that lets you know when you are getting close to the car, or wall in front of you (via beeps). Since use of radar is difficult to get a license for (thank you FCC), the LPP uses Laser.

Your new parking assistant is always on watch so that you don't bump anything, and so it needs a clear mind all the time, and doesn't like being "interfered with". (... you KNOW where this is going.) :)

If the laser is being interfered with, it can't do its job of protecting you from bumps and bruises, so it will let you know. Loudly. This gives you enough time to slow down and turn off your parking assistant... so that when the boys in blue try to get your speed reading a second time, they can. Good thing you're going the speed limit!

We decided on the Laser Pro Park system after much research. They are currently the best bang for the buck, but we were still skeptical. To date we have successfully jammed 3 laser readings (between the 3 of us). The units have already paid for themselves.

    -----------------------------------------
We are going to start this off with a group buy...
For an E30, you really only need a single head jammer, a dual head jammer WILL work better, but it is a little excessive for cars our size. We are running single head units on the E36s, with great success.

I would like to get 10 orders.
    Retail is $549 plus shipping...
If I can get 10 people, I can do $490 shipped.
Less than 10 is $510 shipped.

Sorry to the guys in the states of Nebraska, Minnesota, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Virginia, Colorado, and Washington DC. Laser Jammers are illegal in these states.

Here is a fun youtube video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUy6x...elated&search=
I need to start carrying a camera in my car for when it happens to me.

    :)

    Alright, who wants one?

I've been meaning to pick one of these up lately, but maintenance > fun. $$$ is tight at the moment, so I'll have to sit this one out.

They may be illegal here but who knows an E30 better... Me or the cop? I'm sure it could be hidden somewhere.

Well, seeing as the usefull range of a laser gun is pretty damn short I'd say that was a good enough warning, and the point, in theory is that it will jam the police speed reading until you have slowed down enough.

Had that just been a detector the driver would have been screwed.

This is too cool! However, do I really want to jack up my euro grill to do this?
Weather proof? (I assume so, since PNW gets rain 300+ days a year.)
