I ordered the 55w ballasts with 5000k bulbs but have actually ended up using my old 6000k bulbs because I love the look. The new ballasts are INSANELY bright and I'm very pleased with my purchase, thanks for the hookup!

I ran my old ballasts with my 5000k bulbs in my highs for a little while (which was amazingly bright) but I'm thinking I'd rather have HIDs in my fogs so I'm back to incandecents in the highs. Question though, what color would you guys go for, 5000k or 6000k or to match the lows?

Yeah, he seems to have disappeared... I wanted to order a set of H3 bulbs but after a month of waiting for a price I finally ordered from understeer.com. I probably should have ordered from them to begin with, they have the same prices as this Group Buy but with free shipping.

He lives in Fallbrook, which was one of the worst-hit spots in SoCal. FWIW, I got 2 sets of 55w 6k and love them to death. I still marvel at how bright they are and I've had them for a month. It took him a bit to get them to me but they were very well worth it and he is a standup guy.
