Christ some people can moan- you dont have to buy the brackets, go and get the bits and measure and make your own then.
I've just made a bracket for a similar upgrade and the bill from the machine shop was near enough to $70. by the time you add on his time and expenses I'd doubt theres much profit in them at all. And so what if he wants to make $10-$20 bucks a pair, sounds pretty reasonable to me.
FYI, I actually picked up a pair of these calipers to do the upgrade but there no way a 4pot caliper will fit behind my wheels (16" schnitzers) so I ended up going with e28 535 calipers with 288x25 rotors. should provide a nice increase in brake performance without being overkillLeave a comment:

$70 is steep, especially since there are a bunch of engineering majors on the forum with access to machine shops.Leave a comment:

Sweet, let us know ASAP. I need better brakes badly, have the calipers already, and don't have the $ for 5-lug.Leave a comment:

yeah, they're done. the wheels that fit them are arriving later this week. the wheels that fit them are arriving this week, so i just have to do some fender work and such to get final pictures. I'd like to roll on them for a while to make sure everythings all good before offering the brackets for sale though.Leave a comment:

yeah. these would have been done except my brother went to mexico for 2 weeks and we ran into some troubles moving, such as one of the fire sprinklers burst and wrecked all the drywall we put up... so school is back in full swing now and I wont have time to finish these until say summer time. They might be done before then as i do have a 1 week break in Feb. but no promises.Leave a comment:
