I would naturally expect that one would need a brake bias valve and a new MC out of something like a 7 series due to the fact that the 4 piston calipers will require more pedal travel or more fluid volume move. A brake bias valve would also be recommended because your changing the factory setup, so just like with engine modifications, you should get the setup tuned properly via a brake bias valve.

In other words, this guy has no f'n clue.
Sounds like two virgins trying to figure out where to put it so they can get it on.
This sounds like a "You may survive in this here wiskey barrel down Niagra Falls, but, I haven't even seen what type of wood the barrel is made of, nor do I jnow if there are any obsticles down there, but Hey, It looks like it will work."
I trust this GB about as far at the calipers will fly when they snap off the spindle in a panic stop.Comment

With that said, I have to ask Kowalski if he has thought about the possible ramifications of someone buying his bracket and not having a clue how to properly implement it. Hell, it sounds like HE doesn't have too firm of a grasp of what is required. Not knowing the basic hydraulic requirements of something that you are selling is just negligent. Advertising before you have properly done them and tested them leads to a basically worthless thread.
Product liability was the foremost concern of the originator of this mod, and it looks as though he was right not to offer the brackets for sale. I'd tread very carefully Kowalski, there are a lot of people that would sue you at the drop of a hat for their mistake. At the very minimum, form an LLC. And learn the friggin' basics of what you are trying to do.1973 BavariaComment

This design has been used on a car that has been to multiple track days. The originator of this mod no longer owns the car, but reported that they worked very well.

As I said in the begining of this buy, I am NOT providing a kit, simply a bracket. I am NOT providing instructions and I'm not going to hold someone's hand through this install. I am selling a single piece of metal that bolts on, not the actual caliper itself or any of the other pieces. This is a do-it-yourself modification, at your own risk, not mine. I assume no liability for someone else's fuck up. I'm test fitting the first piece on Saturday, a day later then planned. The modification has been done on e30's and many other vehicles.
oh, and the reason i started the GB thread before i actually made it was to see if there was interest in actually producing the unit. now that i see there is, i'm going to go ahead and do so.Comment

You better send one huge ass disclaimer with this product, if someone dies, their family will; sue you, the junkyard their calipers came from, the machine shop that drilled the VW rotors, and maybe even the friend that came over to the house to help bleed the calipers. Maybe you should sell it as a "Multi-use Paperweight"Comment

WTF guys, have you looked at the 300M.de kit? He uses 750i calipers with audi TT rotors that have been re-drilled to 4X100 and the center bored out 1mm.
His bracket is CNC milled out of stainless (I don't know what kind) and he has passed TUV.
If it passes TUV, I would gladly trust it with my life.Comment
