RX-7 4 piston caliper adapting bracket

This isn't rocket science and there have been numerous people who have made brackets for any number of calipers to go on many different cars. Just for the E30 there are brackets for RX7, Brembo, other BMW, and Wilwood calipers. I first saw them on stock cars in the 1970's that used GM spindles because of the rules but calipers and rotors were free. The purpose of a group buy is to get the cost down and save others the trouble of re-inventing the wheel.
Depending on price I'm in for a pair.

i don't know where you shop that cnc work is 40$ an hour. material, labor, annodizing, shipping, paypal fee's all add up my friend. and there is no way that anyone running 80,000$+ machines and an engineering degree is charging out for 40$ an hour. go shit on someone elses thread.

and by all means, if you can make these cheaper at such a low volume by all means go ahead. If i get more interest once i've posted up the final product the price may drop depending on how many i can sell. but as it stands 70$ is what its going to cost.

I dont think the price is that bad for 4pot brakes consitering I've seen subaru caliper bracket adapters sell for over 200 dollars to fit OEM rear brakes on subarus.

Holy fuck, why all the hate? Let the man make and sell his bracket. If you're not intrested or you don't think its this and that then GTFO. I personally think that price is fair enough seen that hes taking out time to make/sell/ship these out to the E30 community.

Wow. Please let me know where you get such rate. $40/hour barely pays for the technicians. What about the building, the machines, the secretary. What about the set-up time to do at least one set? Was there some time spent before even bring the blueprints to the shop?

I appreciate your work for the community and you seem to have the best prices on big brake kits for the e30's and I personally have never heard any bad reviews of your stuff. You of all people know that once you square up the stock and program the cut, CNC is a relativly fast process.

I have already used this machinest to make adaptor bushings for my motorcycle to fit a new shock and happily led a GB for them on FZRarchives, we got a way more complex piece done from 304ss for roughly $55 shipped.

BTW, WTF would you anodise stainless....

Buy a set of VW corrado rotors machine 1mm out of the bore, mount them up, buy the rx-7 calipers and measure. It's not very hard at all.

i did not say it would be out of stainless for sure. i said t304 or a similar quality material. If you want to start a group buy do it in another thread.

as well, there is multiple factors in the pricing. its 70$ shipped for 10 orders of 2, or a full set, not 55$ each. if we get more, obviously the price will go down, because the cost goes down.
