the light output isnt changed.

They do nothing to inhibit light output, but are a simple blacked out crosshair that when reflected inside the high beam bucket, makes it appear from all angles that the housing is "smoked."

Assuming you don't have powered double cuts? I bet 18ga or higher would work perfectly for this instead of doing it on cad and everything.
