    Hi guys.

The sidemounts can accomodate seats up to 435mm at the mounting points. The mounts can be moved in or out the rails to adapt to your seat. Or you can also use swaybar endlinks rubber bushings cut in slice to your requirement and insert them between the seat and the sidemount. That will also be a good way to keep from scratching the fiberglass shell. I will probably include these rubber donuts on the next batch. The local hardware certainly sells something similar for under $1.

    Part #10 on the diagram.

Any ideas on the thickness of those bushings? With the brackets on my seat (Corbeau FX-1 Pro), I can set the seat in the car, and it basically lines up with the existing floor holes. Which does NOT work with the sliders. The brackets end up sitting in between the 2 tabs on each side.

I ended up just bolting it to the floor with some angle aluminum. It took a LOT of measuring, cutting, drilling, and test fitting. Probably 3 hours worth.

I'm still very happy with the product, and will probably buy another set for the passenger side. It was exactly as described and is of very high quality, as is the hardware included.

        Thanks!

Can you take a picture of how yours turned out? I'm going to use these on my FX1 Pro's as well and I'm curious to see what's going on here.

            Hi guys

Sorry for replying late. Those who want to source the swaybar rubber rings to use as spacers can look for the following:

            10 RUBBER RING 16 31351125712 $1.21

They are 1" thick and can be spliced in two to produce two spacers. I have a few used sets in my basement. Will mail them for free if you need some. I may have to shovel a few of snow though.

BTW You can source similar bushings from any NAPA-UAP, PepBoy source as they are universal.

Can you make the next run without the slots near the mouting holes? I doubt anything will happen but there really isn't any reason for them there and it would let me sleep a little better.

I plan on ordering two sets.

Lee, just got the seat mounts in and they worked great. One question though. After I got home, it appears that I installed them backwards from the way you show.

I figured it made more sense to put the "shorter" part of the bracket at the front so it fits under the lip on the side of the seat, because there is no lip on the rear of the seat.

The seat seems to be angled correctly and I have no problems. Is it okay to leave it as is?

It is okay. All seats have different height regarding the bolt location. Therefore the mounts can be installed in anyway that better fits your seat(s).

Jgood - I just finished mounting a Corbeau FX1 and an FX1-Pro in my car. I ran into the same issue you did. My solution was to buy some washers and a couple nuts to space the brackets appropriately in the car. I found that, for the nuts (used when a lot of space was needed) the trick is to buy a nut with the ID just a bit bigger than the bolt, so the bolt slides through easily (it's only acting as a spacer, so it doesn't need to thread). Same thing on the washers - go one size bigger and you'll save a lot of trouble. End result works pretty well.

I'll try to snap some pics this weekend of what exactly I used.

I ended up using angle aluminum, and am a LOT happier with it. Very solid, and I was lucky enough to get the perfect position (measure twice, drill once, elongate holes until it fits, LOL).

I don't miss the sliders at all.

Did you get yours mounted yet? I don't have close up pics but can take some if you want to see how it's set up.
